The first selling show of work by Norman Thelwell in 20 years - 'The Definitive Thelwell' - will run at the Chris Beetles Gallery from Wednesday 13 May to Saturday 6 June 2009. It provides a comprehensive cross-section of Thelwell's work with over 150 drawings and watercolours. Subjects of the cartoons range from houses, pets, farming, sailing, golf and children to hunting, gardening and fishing and, of course, the famous ponies. A group of watercolour landscapes and seascapes will also be included.
